Words on Walls
Stir
Tell
Cut
HEAL
Weigh
heavy
in my bones.
Little rascals
dripping snot
and skinned knees
cheer the sniggering fool
that slobbers on the corner
that dares to love
to put it all out there
for them
to poke
and prod.
So stupid is she
no rank
to comfort
to honor
or send power
to those words.
Blue fears
snake
lonely
across black tar
then go and squat
in the corner.
Words on Walls
cast shadows
watch
as the seconds
pass
words on walls
long
to go back home.
