Inspired by Gwendolyn Brooks’ poem– We Real Cool

In 1950, Gwendolyn Brooks became the first African-American to win the Pulitzer Prize.

We plant seeds. We

fill needs.

We work key. We

cost sees.

We fix fate. We

stay late.

We swap rage. We

slow age.

We coarse scheme. We

bright dream.

It’s always great to take a writer’s style or one of their works as a starting point. Very well done!
