Alligators as Pets, really?

Alligators are opportunists.

You never know where they will turn up.

Inside your carport

Under your car.

Probably a good idea to properly

Dispose of those fish guts.

Understand that

Females are never more than ten feet in length

Males can grow as large as fourteen feet

The Florida Alligator record weight is 1043 lbs.

Imagine that!

Big, long, green, scaly crocodilians

Compared to us, homo sapiens

That range from double xx-small to 5X.

The statistics for Alligator human bites from

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission

For 2025, there are seven major, one fatal, and four minor incidents, totaling 11.

In 2023, there were eighteen major, two fatal, and five minor, for a total of 23.

Holy crap Holmes

What happened in 2023?

To harvest and avoid bites

You can wait until the temp is below 55

Which is opportune for humans

Or bring your snare attached to a six-foot pole

Attach a dead fish head for bait

Finally, keep water exposure to under a minute

Be sure to have permits, suitable caging

And wear a muscle suit for catch-and-release.

Mask, rubber slippahs, and hand sanitizer are optional.

Seriously: DO NOT FEED THE ALLIGATORS! It is illegal and dangerous.
