What is your stress level?
Do flubbed shots send you reeling
Or wheeling through the park on your bicycle
Shaking your head with dread at the idea of ever going back. Losing track of your score, was that last hole a three or a four? Do you suffer from a limp or are you healing from a stent? Is it your swing or your stance, or your address? I must confess that it could be your timing or me rhyming at your expense.
Frankly, it’s reprehensible. But inquisitive minds need to know, what is the lack that holds you back?
And it’s a firm NO; we won’t let you wallow in your sorrow. Think of it this way:
Your next Hole-In-One is on Hole thirteen or Hole number nine, or Hole number one; it should be fun and done.
To be repeated hopefully in this lifetime. What a fine time
You had. Diving into the swimming pool with all your clothes and shoes on. Or not.
Screaming at the top of your lungs, the sound still ringing in our ears.
Drinks for everyone in your foursome. A pitcher of beer. A plaque for your golf cart to proudly display and remind them of your awesome shot on that auspicious day. Especially, if it happens on a Tuesday, which is Ladies Day, and then there is cash, individual or divided. Another woman golfer’s luck decides it.
Personally, if I won, I’d be sure to spend it on something golf-related, something understated, like a sleeve of balls to go with my new bag. I love blue, don’t you?
